Haven't seen Terra Nova yet. I'm one of those people who waits for the series to finish it's run on TV, then I go watch it all. I hate waiting for a new ep each week- especially if it's one of those "cliff hanger ending" type shows hehe
haha. South Africa doesnt get the awesome series. we get CSI, desperate housewives and somthing about the law, so we kinda download it... very illegal yes, but there is no entertainment on TV. haha. and even then you have to wait.
He's the exact same guy as in Avatar, just less grrrrrrrrrrrr. ^^
Behold, the real hero of Pandora! Ok, i know, he was sick military mothefucker bastard and i really dont like him, but he at least fighted for our side...I dont know, my racial identity and patrioism is propably too strong but i cant like aliens and svages likes na'vi. I first of all hate barbarians who destryoing more advanced culture and technology. And second, i hate Alien scum that slaughtering humans. And look, Na'vi are both in one package! Its propably just me but I simply cant understand how can everyone like blue monkeys who cut suplly of critically need material and left OUR OWN planet to starve.
Often peoples were branded 'barbarians' for no other reason than that they didn't build cities, write, or were not part of the so called 'civilised' world of the Greeks and Romans. For all their 'savagery', the barbarians caused a lot less bloodshed than the Romans, and they didn't have people torn apart by wild animals in arenas for entertainment either.
Loyalty to your own is commendable, but blind loyalty isn't. In this film, (unlike so many real life conflicts) there was a clear line between right and wrong, and the humans crossed a mile over that line. If you can't see that, Christ help you.
Well humans invaded THEIR planet, so doesn't that make humans the "aliens" and invaders? We're not the center of the universe haha. And technically we destroyed our own planet How would you feel if a neighbouring country got into a mass civil war and used up all their own resources, then decided: "Hey, we're out of goods, but this country next door has plenty of supplies! Let's kick them out and take it. They won't mind!" But I don't feel like getting into this argument right now. It's pointless- it's a movie
But yeah, I gotta say Quaritch was my favorite character in the movie- even though he was pretty despicable, he was pretty awesome and had some good lines
