FFFffff this was a good work out - painting frenzyy!

Yeah yeah I know I'm a little late to hop on the bandwagon xD
But uh...it's being re-released in the cinemas next week..so there! =P

[link] Base reffed off this pic. I was going to paint that picture straight off- but I decided to put a different spin on it and this is how it came out.
David Nagal's skin texture and highlight brush pack worked amazingly well for this too!

Photoshop CS3. About 9 hours straight (just had to get it out of my system :XD:)

EDIT: Wow I didn't expect this painting to take off the way it has. I just wanna thank everyone who has :+fav:'d or commented here!

Also a big thanks to *7377 for giving me the inspiration (*cough* planting the idea in my head like Inception*cough*) to do an Avatar related piece! :worship:

Amazing! It looks so realistic, especially with the textures of the skin and the way you've captured the light reflecting off his cheek. One of the best deviations I've seen in a while :meow:
