Norman Osborn/Green Goblin -Robert Cuccioli- by Sheridan-J Norman Osborn/Green Goblin -Robert Cuccioli- by Sheridan-J
Lighting fun!!!

Robert Cuccioli as Norman Osborn from the Broadway show "Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark".

He had only been performing in the show for about 2 weeks when I saw it, and he was certainly the stand-out performer of the night.

I had this one planned out for a couple of weeks but never got around to starting it because I realized I had pretty much -no- visual information of him in this role. No photos, no video. And my memory is getting hazy haha.

Then I thought: Screw it, I'll just wing it and hope I get him looking right in costume. I also had a hell of a time getting his hair looking right....

And then some photos came up on some of the Official sites. Turns out I was WAY off on the hair to start with....but all is good now haha.

So that was lucky- I could have totally screwed it up  Anyway, just thought he needed some more love- he was great!

I also ended up recycling my Green Goblin picture from here:

I was going to do a new one...but I figured there's only gonna be enough room to have a tiny portion of him showing, and it would just be a waste of time to paint him all over again.

Photoshop CS5
20+ hours.
Airbrush + Texture brushes.
Dodge/Burn and Sharpen/Blur for finishing touches!

Very cool, beautiful lighting! Gobby is my favorite and my best. But, wait. What happened to Patrick?! :mortified: I really really loved him as Norman. :sobbing: REALLY!

And my moral code dicates that I state: I saw Turn Off the Dark during previews before the rewrite and then again after the rewrite. I have never been so heart-broken in my life. The original was one of, if not the best thing I have ever seen, including movies, plays, anything, and I am a snob when it comes to entertainment. The execution, complexity, art, storyline, intelligence was all beautiful and astounding. I was really excited to see it again and show my siblings. I wasn't able to get back until after the rewrite. The show I saw the second time was a dumbed down version of the first movie. Besides the fact that it had Spidey and Gobby in it, it had nothing to do with the original plot and they cut the third act out entirely. It literally ends where the original second act ended. The songs are stuck in awkward places with changed lyrics because their original position and meanings don't exist anymore. It's been a year and I could still cry over it. Sorry to ramble, but everyone who praises this new version or believed all the "disaster" hype has NO idea what they missed. I have never heard a bad word from anyone who actually saw it back then. It was a masterpiece and it is bad-mouthed all over the place. I just try to spread the word and defend it when I can. Notice that the majority of original cast quit after the rewrite. This is the reason.
