Traditional Art .....Wtf is that?? Haha.

So, a few days ago, I had a brief run in with a "Digital Art is Not Art" type of person (on another art site) and it certainly got me interested (and wondering).

It's been nearly 7 years since I made a piece of finished art on paper with pens and pencils before I took up digital, and I wanted to see how I would do with it now. I figured it's like riding a bike.

And I'm not kidding, I actually had trouble drawing/shading lines and just being able to USE the pencil. I'm so used to "drawing" with a stylus and looking at my monitor that I couldn't accurately get the pencil in the right spot. It took a couple of hours into the piece (and a few warm-up scribbles) to get my hand back into it (Kinda like drawing with your opposite hand, but with your good hand).

Really, really weird

So here we are. Doing Traditional Art.

_{I'm also sorry that I couldn't think of anyone else to draw. It's the only face I know how to draw these days It was either him or Dr House.

A4
HB, 2H, 4B and 6B were the only pencils I could find.

Very nice!!! I haven't grabbed a pencil in 5 years....and I just got back to drawing on a wacom this weekend. I wonder how the paper is gonna feel, I'm actually afraid!
