I know I know, this guy again!?
He's just too damn brilliant, that's why!
The piece on the left was the original and was meant to be a quick warm up illustration before a much larger project and I had left it at that...
...but about 3-4 months later I cracked and just had to render him up in full detail and lighting
Photoshop CS5
About an hour for the first one...20+ hours on the revision!
Airbrush + Texture brushes.
Dodge/Burn and Sharpen/Blur for finishing touches!
