The Phantom Of The Opera - Hugh Panaro by Sheridan-J The Phantom Of The Opera - Hugh Panaro by Sheridan-J
As much as I love Phantom of the Opera, owning 4 different cast/album recordings, the 2003 film and the 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray....I haven't actually seen the show live! It's been here in Australia at least 3 times, but I never got around to seeing it!

I finally got the chance in August to catch it on Broadway when I visited NYC. And it was as beautiful as I had imagined, and our Phantom, Hugh Panaro, was just.....gah! What a beautiful man!

Photoshop CS5
15+ hours.
Airbrush + Texture brushes.
Dodge/Burn and Sharpen/Blur for finishing touches!

My biggest regret is not seeing PotO when it was here in Melbourne (2007?). That was pretty much his PotO retirement performance *facepalms*

As always absolutely amazing work. I highly recommend you go see The Phantom of the Opera if you get a chance. I've seen it several times and one of my favourite Phantoms was Brent Spiner who was Commander Data on Star Trek the next generation. I think Gerard Butler was a very impressive one as well. I've always enjoyed the story as did my Father, hence my Name Erik. The really odd thing is my fiancee is named Christine :) She's not a singer from Sweden, but she is a very talented cook from Scotland.

Keep up the fantastic work

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I can not come up with the right words to explain how amazing this is. I saw Hugh, and that was amazing, because he is so talented. This is amazing I truly have no words for the beauty this holds. The photo you captured with your brush. It looks so realistic, and amazing I truly am in love with this.

Nice. I like the detail of the rose and your detailing on clothes has really improved since some of your first works you posted. The only thing letting this down at the moment is the hand. In comparison to the rest of the picture, it looks unfinished.

Overall brilliant, though!

Well done and nice feel to it :)

Im just wondering about the mask though (assumin it is a mask since the edges stick out from his face) and if he would wear it so tightly to the skin with that hole for the nose? I think that either if there is a hole, his skin would be showing within the nostril or there would be no hole at all! Right now it looks kinda uncomfortable with a white mask that sticks up your nose xD

Hope you understand what im saying :)
