@00:02No, but I do tend to speak what I'm thinking. Or in this instance, my frustration that you ACTUALLY have to physically hunt down and click a link before you can drag it over to your collections as opposed to just dragging it straight. Blar. :XD:

Here is the video walkthrough of painting basic facial hair.
A little boring? Yes.
Repetitive? Hell yeah.
Hard? Not really!

Once you have all your tones/textures down, it's just a matter of going over the area again and again and building it up. One strand at a time haha.

This showed me that a) digital art is very difficult, more than some people think, requiring a lot of preparatory thought and observational skills..

(b) the way you apply paint is a lot more like oils, because when I use acrylic ( my preferred medium), I tend to wait for the layers of colour to dry a little, then overlay details on top.. thanks for the demos, they're instructive even to people not versed in the digital delight.

Thanks so much :) I really appreciate that!

I was taught as a traditional painter to begin with (acrylic, oils etc.) so naturally I always kind of treat my digital ones as such, and start with the underpainting and build up the color as if I were painting on a real canvas :D
