(VIDEO) Speedpainting Portrait Process

Description

Here is my time-lapsed video of the process I go through when painting a portrait in Photoshop CS3 with my WACOM tablet, using mainly the airbrush and some customized texture brushes.

Also a nice demonstration of David Nagel's Photoshop Skin texture brushes which I cherish so dearly! They're fantastic for blending tones together while keeping the texture of the skin intact and looking real.

Real time- around 4-5 hours.

Thanks so much for sharing this! And for every single one of your tutorials! I just started out trying to do realistic painting, but I'm having such a hard time with the brushes and getting the details right. Plus trying to work on just two-three layers is tough work. I'm not used to it. More like, I'm afraid of messing it up and tend to hit SAVE AS x 100. akfgsksjf.
