  • Mood: Amused
  • Listening to: These sweet beats.
Hey watchers, business disciples and passer-by...ers.

I haven't been been very active these last few weeks [or months] as freelance work has kept me plenty busy.
But I just want to say a big thank you for all your support, comments and awesomeness over that time! I really appreciate everything

Do you like music? Do you like free stuff?
Then give this demo track from my brother's band a listen!
Please? :D
I designed the logo hehe.

Be cool and give it a download. And let us know what you think! :D…

  • Mood: Zeal
  • Listening to: These sweet beats. And you can too!
Yeah. Still waiting for news on my poor broken down PC.

In the mean time, you can follow me on :twitter: Twitter:
or :facebook: Facebook:…

I still have one of those..."mobile phone" devices that magically teleports the world wide web into my hands. So I can still update stuff and entertain.
  • Mood: Daily Needs
  • Listening to: Nothing. All my sweet beats were on my PC.
  • Reading: Nothing. No PC to browse multiple tabs.
  • Watching: Nothing. Video streaming is too slow.
  • Playing: Nothing. This is not rigged for my games.
  • Eating: Nothing. My PC was really tasty.
  • Drinking: Tears :'(

Hehe, so funny story: My strong and noble computer fried itself, thanks to a thunderstorm no less than two days ago causing copious power-outs. My PSU fought valiantly, but eventually succumbed to the power surges. The stench of burning filled the room.

In a desperate attempt to rid my room of the smoke and odor of technological failure, I yanked the machine out from under my desk and removed it from the area. I regrettably unscrewed the casing, bracing myself to witness the unspeakable burn damage that may or may not have fallen upon my poor motherboard.

I brought my face close to the wounded machine in hopes of unveiling what smelled like an entire electrical forest engulfed by the fires of hell. Instead of an opulence of damage, I was greeted by an eight-legged goliath of beastly proportion. Surely this had been sent by the devil himself.

I grasped for my picture-taking-machine to document this hellish encounter.
 Arachnophobes beware:

Like the honorable warrior I once was, I Noped the FUCK out of there and sent my brave computer to the shop to be repaired.

The beast escaped and is lurking somewhere within this residence.

I have no choice but to save everyone now from the horrors which have been unleashed. What I have unleashed...

I must burn the house down.

So that's been my week so far! :D

Tutorials- 'What are this??' REVEALED

Fri May 31, 2013, 2:05 AM

Earlier, I presented to you a mysterious looking folder with the words [TOP SECRET] plastered across its cover. Many of you speculated the meaning of such an object. Ranging from a "center for ants", a "magic unicorn that shoots death beams" to.... a .PNG image!

But today all is revealed what the deal is with this thing as the contents of the Folder have spilled all over my computer!

"Business Dog; Business Files" is my personal folder full of all my secret Photoshop knowledge I have acquired over the years and stored in my Top Secret brain!

I speculated a couple of weeks ago a series of Mini-Tutorials created by me, and have since been gathering ideas of what you wanted to see. And I am happy as hell to share them with you :)

These tutorials will be broken up into three separate categories:

Tech Talk: Will be covering general Photoshop techniques, painting techniques, effects, anything else Photoshop related

Tool Tips: Will specify individual tools, such as specific brushes, dodge/burn tool, Pen Tool etc.

and of course, Portrait Pointers: Everything you want to know about painting the perfect portrait!

Many of these are still in the making, but please stay tuned for the first couple of releases in the next few days!

A series of Mini Tutorials by me!

Sun May 12, 2013, 10:12 PM

Heya guys!

I've been thinking of putting together a series of mini tutorials on some specific things. Not full-blown start-to-finish walkthroughs, but more like technique ones that are more....specific. Like ways you can use a certain Photoshop brush, the Pen Tool, Layers, painting jewelry etc. Just single stuff like that.

Anyway, I'm drawing a few blanks right what technique or (Photoshop) tool would you like to see in a tutorial?

Shameless self promotion time.

I got a Facebook page.…

:iconlike-plz:  Go for it!

Hey guys!

Like the title says, I am in need of help from some FMA fans!

I have been commissioned to do a portrait for the character named Scar. I've done quite a bit of research on the character to understand his personality, but I need to know something; how did he get that X scar on his face?

I just need to know so I can figure out how I can go about creating it!

EDIT: Thanks everyone for your help! I was kinda on the right track...but just had to be sure!

R.I.P Koko the Dog!

Australia's favorite dog, Koko, the canine star of the film Red Dog, has died in Perth today after a battle with congestive heart disease that was diagnosed earlier this year.

Poor little fella :(

Anyway, here is a tribute I have compiled with all artwork related to Koko and Red Dog I have found around here!

Hey guys!

Thanks for all your support! I have randomly drawn a winner from the 33 peeps who entered the mini lottery by favoriting the last journal

By doing so, you were assigned a number in the favorites window.

I keyed in 1 - 33 in an online "Random Number Generator", and the number that matched the corresponding deviant in the favorites window would be chosen!

Now who wants to watch the prize draw?…

:la: Congrats, Number 13! Uh... I mean, Congrats WillardStilles :la:

You win a nice, shiny "#9000 AVENGERS" Print

Also by :+fav:ing this journal, you will go into the random draw to win a Free "#9000 Avengers" print from me (not a ComicCon signed one, sorry), and an individual Character print of your choosing! (See below)

And we finally have a winner! Congrats to ciequs for guessing who it was!

The extra clues were ;

Clue #1:

Actor. (That narrows it down!!)

Clue #2:
-Tony and Olivier award winning Broadway musical/stage star. Has also released his own solo album.

Not American

Clue #3:
Nobody ever wanted to play as him in the N64 game. We all fought over a more....questionably unfair character.

-He played Boris Grishenko in "Goldeneye" and was in the classic N64 game. If you weren't quick enough to chose the cool Bond or 006 in a Multiplayer game, you were left scrambling for either a cool Siberian Arctic guard or Baron Samedi. NO ONE wants to play as Boris haha. Oh and Oddjob is a HACK! He's too short and the bullets just fly over his head!

Clue #4:
CBS. And for the Aussies...Channel 10.

- He is currently staring in the CBS TV show "The Good Wife" and was nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in 2011. Channel 10 here in Australia tend to advertise the show a lot haha.

Clue #6:
A word for a fault or bug in a machine, system or plan.

- Glitch. Also the name of a loveable character he played in the TV mini-series "Tin Man".

Well done ya'll. This was fun :XD:
And I just wanna let you all know I'm not dead- just busy haha. Got some awesome stuff in the works right now, and a new Tutorial for Psdtuts+ in the making!

Please tell me.
I'm bad enough with names as it is, let alone now that people can change them every six months

Hell, if someone changes their avatar I seem to lose them for a while haha.

Some Photoshop Tutorials by Me!!

Mon May 7, 2012, 10:50 PM
Hey guys!

Just thought I'd let you know I have written two tutorials for the website Psdtuts+. Well, they are more like Step-by-step workflows on a couple of my pieces. You will need to purchase a subscription to the website to view them, but here they are anyways:
