Stupid PowercutsJust been stuck in a powercut for an hour. No internet for a whole hour! D:
Worst thing was, prior to the powercut I was in the shower. First the lights in the bathroom went off and then the shower went freezing cold! I had to dive out, navigate the bathroom for a towel, dry off, get dressed and then spend the past hour with a towel wrapped around my head because I couldn't use the hairdryer. I never even got chance to use my shampoo and I can't be bothered now. I'll do it tomorrow.
Stupid powercuts.

A Year?So 5 days ago last year I made myself a deviantart account and reluctantly posted a messy amateur drawing of a cheetah. Looking back at my old sketches I realize how much I've grown since I first entered. Well, not that much, but still :D
I've found people that share my interests and are kind enough to read through my ramblings and occasional angst. People who think my style is worthy of their concepts and ask me for requests. And a person who thinks my art is worthy of a tumblr post. (Thank you, wherever you are.)
Faves fill me with tickly happiness, and every single compliment keeps me drawing. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who's helped and supported me along this little adventure. I internet-hug you all for being so awesome.

Batman MassacreI just felt like I needed to talk about this in some shape or form.
As you all know, in Colorado (USA) there was a jerk who decided to get dressed up in garb, sneak into the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises and re-enact the "Hospital Scene" from The Dark Knight, releasing fire, killing 12 people in the process, including a nine year old girl, and injuring dozens, including a three month old baby.
This man calls himself the Joker. And he killed these innocent people as part of an act.
It was truely dark times to hear about this tragedy, being such a fan of the Batman Series and even more so of the Joker himself. The man was caught at the scene, thankfully. As much as I hate to admit it, he's an evil genius. (He even rigged his apartment with tons of ammunition so it'd blow sky high when the police opened the door. Luckily, they didn't enter his home that way.)

UPDATEHello everyone, my apologies. I haven't been very active here on Da in a while. It's due to 2 factors: I've had SO MUCH upheaval in my life since October of last year (financial and emotional, you know, nothing serious), AND well to be candid Deviant Art isn't really the avenue for what I'm gonna do. I just took over wifey's old laptop so I can now finally make movies for my YouTube channel, DonnySpielberg. And I spend the bulk of my time these days on Facebook.
Don't get me wrong, to post the pic's from my various adventures and exploits, Deviant Art is the place to go, and I still enjoy the wonderful art from all of you.

~5/21/12~Yesterday was my anniversary with my gorgeous partner Gaibhre, gaibhre.deviantart.com .
He is the love of my life, he is my life. He is my moon.
I think back on the dark parts of my life and the scars that they left....I thought that the mental injuries would never fade away. Until I got him, he fixed me. He taught me how to love again. I was so broken down. I was so hurt. My wounds seemed so deep. My heart was in so much pain.  In the past, I would sit lifeless like a broken-down marionette without a master. I was missing so much that I couldn't even see. He brought me everything that I ever needed and things I didn't even know I needed. Not a beat of my heart passes that I don't think of him.
This year has literally been the most beautiful year of my life. I finally feel alive.
I look forward to the many years we have ahead of us.
Without him, I wouldn't be able to create. I wouldn't be able to breathe. I wouldn't be able to go on.

Anyone going to San Diego Comic-Con this year?

The very first prints from my Avengers Series will be on sale via 258 West Authentic Signatures (Booth #4533).





**Also, all Prints have been hand signed by Tom Hiddleston like the top image (minus my name. That's mine; You're not having it lol) So it is a -very- limited print run exclusive only to SDCC! Only 20-30 or so of each **
