My tribute to the impossibly awesome Penn & Teller
Photoshop CS5
This was done over about 2 weeks- just picking at it in between work, commissions and my free time.
Airbrush, Dodge/Burn tool for detail and Sharpen/Blur tool for finishing touches!
Also with the help of Photoshop Skin texture brushes!
References- Initially inspired by this photo: [link] . I ended up "Frankensteining" a whole bunch of other reference pics together to make this!

I dislike these two jokers .
I watched a special of theirs. They did a nasty version of the "Liquid nitrogen" trick I used to demonstrate for chemistry *
incl. flashfreezing a live mouse and then shattering it into icy white splinters (sleight of hand, no mouse actually died). Also flashfreezing a hand and then replacing it !
In the finale, Teller seemingly died and stayed dead, drowned in a tank, as credits rolled. This permanently turned me off.
* My boss would order and have delivered liquid oxygen, because he wanted to show how oxygen, unlike nitrogen, supports fire. The liquid element would cause things to burn like sixty ! Flash incineration ! We did freeze frankfurters and then smash them into splinters, but no live animals ! Or our hands either !
